Why tracking changes your results
Human memory is systematically biased toward wins. Near-misses and small wins below your stake get remembered as wins; long grinding losses blur together. That's not a character flaw — it's how the games are designed to be remembered.
A written record removes the bias. It also shows you the one number nobody calculates: your cost per hour. Once you know a session costs you $18/hour, you can decide whether that's a fair price for the entertainment — which is a far better question than "am I up or down?". Learn the maths behind it in our bankroll management guide and house edge guide.
