Who writes this, and how to check it.
SlotDrop publishes one article a day about the mathematics of casino games. Every house edge, expected value and simulation on the site is computed from published game rules — and where a figure comes from a model rather than a rulebook, the model is published with it.
Sam Corrigan is a pen name.
Saying so is the point. A named author who can be held to the numbers is what makes a claim checkable; hiding behind a company name is what makes it unaccountable. This site is written by one person under a consistent name, reachable at contact@slotdropapp.com, and every correction is made publicly.
- The same person writes and checks every article on the site.
- Corrections are made on the page, not quietly removed.
- An email about a wrong figure gets an answer, whoever sends it.
- No article is written or reviewed by an operator or an affiliate.
- Nobody here is a licensed financial or legal adviser.
- None of this is a system, a tip, or a way to beat a house edge.
- No figure on this site predicts what will happen to you tonight.
- Being right about the maths is not the same as being lucky.
Where the numbers come from.
In this order of preference. If a figure cannot be produced by one of the first two, it is labelled as a model.
Found a wrong number?
It is the most useful thing you can send. Give the page and the source you compared it against — a rulebook, a paytable, your own simulation. If it holds up, the page is corrected and the correction is dated.
How the site is paid for.
- Affiliate commission when someone signs up through our link. Disclosed at the bottom of every page.
- Donations in SOL, with no perks attached — see Donate.
- Paid rankings, sponsored reviews, or a fee to appear on the site.
- A house edge, a rating or a recommendation changed by a commercial relationship.
This is a site about maths, not a reason to play.
Every game covered here has a negative expectation. Understanding one precisely does not make it profitable. If gambling has stopped being a choice, Safer Play lists free, confidential help — none of it run by a casino.
